Actually made of REAL silicone and does what it says
First off, this mold is very thick and heavy which is the first hallmark of something being pure silicone. Just so you're aware, nearly everything you've purchased online for the last 10 years claiming to be silicone that wasn't from a major, established brand, wasn't actually silicone. Price is another big tip off because real silicone is actually a pretty expensive material, so anything you see in the $5-ish dollar range is immediately suspect. Because of the explosion in popularity of things being made of silicone instead of plastic, a bunch of places started producing thin, silicone seeming molds and products, but actually had little to no real silicone in them. All of that to say, this is the first 100% silicone item I've seen from a non-major brand, well, pretty much ever. So that was a very welcome surprise. That aside, this thing is so well made. The indents are thick and noticeable and super clear on the finished bars. But most importantly, the holographic part actually works! To give an extreme TLDR on the holographic thing; if an item is super finely, mirco engraved in a specific way, light bounces off of it in a holographic pattern, no matter what that item is made out of. So of course, using that logic, if you engrave a silicone mold, would whatever you pour into it become holographic? And the answer is yes, it does! It literally does sound like made up nonsense and when I first heard of this about 9 years ago, I thought it was someone trolling, but they went onto test it and it actually worked. All of that to say, this item works and is extremely well made and is the best silicone mold I've ever purchased, not even including the holographic thing. One important thing to note though is that because this is nano-engraved and works because of the insanely fine details etched into it, ANYTHING abrasive or too harsh (such as soaking in dish soap for long periods, and putting it in the dishwasher) WILL ruin the holographic aspect of the mold.

Magical and LARGE!
This is a magical chocolate mold! I had huge skepticism when I ordered this mold. I really liked the geometry so figured it was still worth it (~$15) assuming the size was correct (it is!) but thought for sure the hologram was AI. Surprise to me that it ACTUALLY WORKS! I used it to make some galentines treats for my friends! This is a very large and a more sturdy than average mold. I still would recommend using it on a cookie sheet for stability. The measurements in the listing pics are spot on!Again, very large mold. I would only recommend making ‘filled’ bars with this mold as a solid pour of this mold at full depth is going to be such a thick chunk of chocolate it would probably be a challenge to eat.Scratch Chocolate Recipe used: Hitchcock at Home’s Three ingredient Dark Chocolate. I needed three full batches to have enough for the tray of three filled bars, so about 15 ounces of chocolate total. Peanut butter filling was DIY’d appropriately 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, and one tablespoon butter microwaved and mixed together for spoonability. I was trying to recreate a Ritter Sport Groovy Crunch Brezel bar (which I regularly dip in peanut butter thus the addition of PB). I think I would have been more successful if I had let the base layer solidified before adding the fillings because I zushed them around a little too much making it all fit and the PB ended up pushing thru the chocolate hologram in a few spots.

I woulnd't believe it if I didn't see it.
If you're wondering what I wondered before I saw it with my own eyes: yes, the chocolate comes out with a hologram. And it's absolutely crazy. I had no idea that you could mold a hologram into a chocolate bar, but apparently you can. It is absolutely crazy. I never would have guessed that this would function as well as this.So let's pause on the hologram for a bit. WITHOUT the hologram, this is a really nice chocolate bar mold. It's a high-quality silicone, comes with 3 different molds in one, and is made with such priscision that you can see the holographic display in the bottom of each tray. It is pretty giagntic, so I'm not sure if that is a positive or a negative. I suppose it's both, depending on how you want to use it. Each candy bar is very, very large and, if you plan on selling them, should fetch a high price.Making your chocolate bars with this mold should be easy: just pour in the chocolate of your choosing and let them cool. My teenage daughter made that trendy new chocolate with the green hay-looking stuff in the middle, and did so with absolute ease. It worked perfectly for this. The ONLY problem, which isn't so much a problem as it is the reality of working with a hologram-transferring micro-grooved mold like this, you have to clean it VERY carefully: not too hot, not too rough, and with food-grade cleaners so as to not damage the micro grooves used by the holograms. If you're going to sell, Dubai chocolate, this is an absolute MUST. Honestly, I don't know why chocolate is ever sold WITHOUT a holographic finish
