A Good Value

We've been needing to get some new kitchen towels so I ordered these when they came up. They match what was shown in the photos and look nice. We choose the Grass Green versions.It recommends hang drying but we did try these in our dryer and they came out fine. Note that we usually dry on the gentle heat option on our dryer so I can't comment on how they hold up if you do it on a harsher heat.We are still early in our use of these but we are happy with them so far. We do not like the big 100% Cotton tag that is on the dish rags. I'm sure some people will use that to hang them from but we will not so those will be getting cut off of ours at some point.I think it $22 was a decent value for 4 towels and 4 rags. I'm going to give these 5 stars. If we have any issues in the near future I'll come back and update my review.

Very useful quality set

These are truly quality kitchen towels and washcloths. They're absorbent, tightly woven, strong, and they held up well in the washer and dryer. We're picky about what towels we use, and these towels dry our hands well. I find that the texture on the dishcloths is helpful for scrubbing dishes. They're not thick and plush like some towels, but they don't feel at all cheap. I really like the sizes of both the dish towels and the wash cloths. While the dish towels are about the size I would expect at 15 X 25, the dishcloths are nicely oversized at 12X12 compared to washcloth size like I'm used to for washing dishes. I like that they both have an attached loop for easy hanging. I got this set in the dark gray and the color is true to the picture except that they look lighter or darer with different lighting and look much darker when wet. These are a good value for a set of 4 of each type of towel that are a great set which I expect will hold up over time.

Nice to have a set of similar dish towels.

I was looking for a set of dish towels in multiple so I can just replace them with consistency in my kitchen. I chose the black and while it does show a lot of gunk if you use them more than to dry dishes and your hands, they wash up well and don’t bleed in color. They are decently absorbent with a nice waffle weave texture and they are soft. The dishcloths are useable but a little too thick and large and wringing water out is harder. All in all they are good set, their value will depend on the price at any given time.

Thin yet absorbent

First of all, I love the color of green that I got. It’s such a calming neutral color. It’s really nice to have a large set of kitchen towels/dishcloths. It is handy that it comes with a loop to hang it. I’m very picky about towels used for drying dishes, because I feel that often the towel becomes soaking wet or doesn’t dry a dish well. These towels absorb a lot and never feel drenched. Though they are very thin, I’m glad another review pointed out how they fluff up and become more absorbent after washing. Not only is this set large in quantity, but also I feel that the dish rags are a large size for cleaning dishes or wiping counters, and the dish towels are a good size as well. I like that the towels have a little texture- both for aesthetic reasons and functionality. I recommend this set!

Handy, convenient, absorbent, well-made

This was a free item through the Vine program.In the spirit of eco-friendliness, I decided to get these cotton kitchen towels to help reduce my reliance on disposable paper towels, and I’m pleased with the outcome. These towels are impressively absorbent, making them versatile for both drying hands and cleaning wet surfaces. I'm still using paper towels for some tasks - but the most common scenario ("dry the hands") is now significantly less wasteful.Additionally, the tan color does a great job hiding any stains. With a set of eight, it's very convenient to place them strategically in different areas of the kitchen, and then toss them all in the washing machine at once. More absorbent after washing

The secret to these towels is washing them first. I tried using one before washing and afterwards and found the towel that was washed and dried was more absorbent. What happens is that when the towels shrink they become a little fluffier. The weave is less flat and they seem to absorb water better. The towels are 100% cotton so some shrinkage is expected. The dishcloth only shrunk about 1/4 inch but the dishtowel shrunk almost two inches in length but not at all in width. The towels are still a good size even after washing. These towels are well made. The stitching seems good and strong. The navy blue color is lighter than I would call navy but the color is depicted accurately in the picture on the website. I lick these towels enough to get again if I needed them but I think these will last a long time.

Nice kitchen towels with weight to them

I like the texture and absorbency of these 100% cotton kitchen towels. I used the dishcloths to wash dishes as well as wipe the counter and I was happy ...It's a waffle weave with a fabric hook to hang the towel and the fibers are tight enough where the fabric hasn't picked or pulled. There is just enough weight to feel good in your hand... I washed them twice already and the color hasn't faded.. I love the assortment of colors.
