Microfiber - great for traveling with eyeglasses and screens!
The 28" x 16" kitchen towel and 12" x 12" dish cloth are absorbent enough for my usage with a nice waffle design. The reason I chose them is that they are microfiber, which I am overjoyed using them for especially on-the-go items such as sunglasses, cell phones, laptop screens, and at home TV screens---anything that does not need cleaning chemicals or scratches on them. This makes them fabulous for traveling whether short distances or abroad! Mine came in an 8-pack of one of my favorite colors, black; however, I am not ecstatic over the solid color for the purposes I use microfiber cloths for, and would most likely prefer them to be a two-tone pinstripe of lighter black/dark black but not pitch black, or dark grey on grey colored as a more neutral color, or questionable but possible dark beige on darker beige. I love the thinness of these for what I use them for as they are not only absorbent enough but they dry quicker than plusher ones and without pilling, etc. I greatly like that these are made with safer chemicals for humans and are certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Absorbent and great in the kitchen, bathroom and all purpose cleaning
I like using microfiber waffle towels instead of paper towels in my kitchen, bathroom and general cleaning. The waffle weave helps create friction that grabs on to the dirt, scum and oily surfaces. This is a good value because I got 4 large waffle weave kitchen towels and 4 hand towels. They are thin, but strong and very absorbent. I could use a terry cloth towel for all-purpose cleaning, instead I make my life so much easier using the microfiber waffle weave towels. Waffle weave has like star or honeycomb design in each waffle pocket with highs and lows which helps absorb and scrub.Before my retirement I had a cleaner who only used microfiber waffle weave towels exactly like these. She said the company she worked with only supplied their cleaners with these types of towels because they last longer, hold on to the dirt and scum from the bathrooms and oil from the kitchen stove. After I retired I no longer needed a cleaner and I only use waffle weave towels in my kitchen and for cleaning. I change my towels daily, they last longer and are easy to wash in a washing machine. There was only one out of the four kitchen towels that had yarn pulled during weaving, I just cut them with sharp scissors and it's working just fine.I do recommend these towels, they are really good value for the money.

Waffle weave dries well
I was surprised at how thin these towels/cloths were. I include a picture where I compare a cloth to one of my regular ones, so you can see the difference in thickness. I also included a photo of the product as the seller pictured for sale, and I don't see how they were able to make them look so thick. So I did knock off a star because the the huge difference in that photo to what I got. They do a good job, though, of quickly soaking up and drying liquids. I'm keeping them in my kitchen towel drawer. The waffle weave towels also wash and dry nicely.

Surprisingly Thirsty Towels—And That’s a Compliment
These Made in China Homaxy microfiber kitchen towels are actually the real deal. In theory, “microfiber” means you’re getting 85% polyester and 15% nylon, split into super-fine fibers that can soak up more water than a sponge at a car wash. These towels definitely live up to that reputation. They don’t just push messes around—they actually pick them up, and my refrigerator has never looked shinier. That’s my go-to test for a microfiber towel, and this one passed with flying (navy blue) colors.The larger 16x28 size feels big enough to dry off a small dog, but it’s nice and thin, so you can fold it neatly and keep it on your counter without it taking over the space. The smaller ones are great for quick wipe-ups or polishing. As of October 2025, the eight-pack—which gives you four big towels and four small ones—was just under $24. That’s a little pricier than I’d like, but considering the quality and how well they perform, I can’t really complain.Overall, they’re soft, absorbent, and leave no streaks or lint behind—basically the unicorn of kitchen towels. They may cost a bit more, but if you’re tired of towels that just pretend to be microfiber, these will make you believe again.

They are larger than many others and I like that when working in the kitchen.I chose black and I'm happy with the color.
