These bowls are perfect for salad, spaghetti or rice dishes. Not deep enough for soup or cereal. We eat a lot of one dish meals and the bowls are perfect. A pint of fried rice from a favorite restaurant fits perfectly, with room to spare so no food falling out of the bowl. Nice colors, too.They’re sturdy without being heavy and wash well in the dishwasher. You can put them in the microwave as well. Excellent value for the price.
These bowls are perfect for pasta or 4 course meals. They are a great size. They do great in the microwave! I have not put them in the dishwasher but I believe they would do fine. The only thing you have to be careful about with these kinds of dishes are using knives to cut. I left a mark in one of mine. It is still fully functional it didn't cut through, just an indent. I have the plates and bowls of these dishes as well. I like that this material is microwave safe. The plates do great in the dishwasher so I believe that the dishwasher would not be an issue. Like I said, I own the plates ,bowls and now these pasta bowls. I might add, I use these daily!! My husband likes them a lot better than our glass dishes. The food stays warmer longer than in glass dishes.
Great for salad. I read a review that said don't use knives so I used my culinary kitchen scissors to cut up the lettuce in the bowl which worked fine.I like the neutral beige color. The salad really pops. Sorry I didn't take a picture. These bowls are really nice and they're really big!After using these lovely, lightweight bowls for over a month, I want to report that they hold up nicely with one exception. I heated a microwavable pot pie in its container in the bowl in the microwave and it did cause the bowl bottom to react. It didn't break but it did change at the center. I'll take a photo if possible.

These are dinner bowls, pasta bowls, or salad bowls. Your choice. They are wide enough and deep enough for most any use. They could also be used for serving. They are lightweight, microwavable, dishwasher safe, and a rich blue color.I'm very happy with this purchase.
