Was iffy but highly impressed

I was iffy because I didn't know what a wheat straw plate was however I was looking for a good plates that I don't have to spend a fortune on or are too heavy. I waited over 2 months to do my review because I wanted to give an honest one and this is it. These plates are amazing! they're lightweight but sturdy, easy to clean and they don't stain. I like that I was able to buy only four as I'm a single gal so I don't need a lot. I love the size and the high/deep sides so things don't slide off of the plate and the grid on the bottom as well. Fun colors to choose from! Would recommend to anyone

Love these plates...

I was looking for a light weight alternative to paper plates and these fit the bill. Dishwasher safe and microwaveable they are seeing a lot of use in my house. However, you can't cut anything in them with a sharp knife - it will leave cut marks deep enough that, in short order, you won't be able to get them clean. Do your cutting on a cutting board and these will last a long time.

Good plates

I really like these plates! They are microwave and dishwasher safe. The colors are true to the pictures. We use them at lunch and dinner almost every day and they have held up really well. I think I’ve had them about 6 months and most still look brand new. They are true to size of the description. I have 3 kids ranging from 4-14 and even when they use them, I don’t worry and the plates breaking. They are a good thickness that lets me know they will hold up well for a long time. I have recently been thinking of getting a second set to make sure I have enough when company comes over. I don’t use paper products very often. My only complaint on these plates are the lip when putting them in our dishwasher, they don’t stand up because the dishwasher prongs are meant for smaller lips i think. We still put them in the dishwasher, they just lean forward.

Homienly dinner plates

I liked the idea of the alternative to paper plates for microwaving. We have had these a while and we use them every day. They do well in the dishwasher. We also got the complimentary bowls. I like the size; a little smaller than my larger porcelain plates, so that helps us to portion control, especially when you were brought up to fill your plate and eat it all. Did notice tomato sauce might stain the lighter colors, but the stain was removed by the dishwasher.
