I purchased these stiff, coarse-bristle brushes for a couple different uses. I use one for when we harvest our 900 SF plot of potatoes for processing. The other went into my ceramic mosaic tile studio. I use it to remove clay from my wood workbench; both wet and dry, and to scrub my base tiles (bisque). I have also used it to remove sawdust, dirt, and clay from my jeans. It's a great multi-purpose brush and of excellent quality.
Great brush for the veggies. Half of the bristles are stiffer than the other making this a great scrubber. Gives a good grip and easy to handle. I would recommend it.
It’s root vegetable season and my vegetable brushes were looking a bit haggard. I decided to give Honeydak’s version a try. Here are notes from my experience:- They are some of the nicest looking vegetable brushes I have ever had! The branding on the beautiful looking wood is rustically cute. 🥰- The wooden handle is comfortable in my hand. It feels sturdy and rarely slipped from my grip (I had wet hands so that is on me!)- It’s efficient to have both soft and hard bristles on the brush, but I have to be very mindful when I am using it. Every now and again, I was trying to use the softer side, but the harsher bristles made an appearance. It’s not terrible, but you may end up “roughing up” your vegetables up more than expected. 😁- I appreciate that two brushes were included. While one of the brushes is air drying (I hand wash them), the other is available for use.I’d recommend the vegetable brush to foodies of all levels! I find Honeydak’s brushes to be a good value with their durability and cute looks to boot! But I recommend being mindful when using the brush on more delicate produce/fruit. You don’t want to accidentally exfoliate your <insert produce of choice> when you are just look for a gentle clean. 😊
Love it! Never peel a carrot again. The stiff bristles just take off all the dirt and first layer. So happy with this Honeydak.It has a hole at one end and it's perfect to pull through a piece of string to hang the brush for drying. My last brush was laying on it's bristles when wet and ruined it so nice job on drilling the little hole. Thank you.
This thing is VERY handy. I LOVE that it comes with two brushes, because I always seem to lose one. It’s super easy to use, and it’s actually a BEAUTIFUL brush. Not like those white plastic ones that are such an eyesore.These brushes are BIG. Literally, they are great big brushes. Very good quality. The wood handle is really nice and feels DURABLE. They are easy to hold and VERY effective. One side is super soft, which is PERFECT for brushing vegetables.But the hard side? Honestly, it’s a little TOO hard. I tried it on potatoes and it scratched the skin right off. I don’t know any vegetable you could scrub with that side. I’m not even sure what you’d use it for.But even with that, I still give it 5 stars because it’s such a GREAT brush. I LOVE it.
