Great product with everything I need.

This is the perfect set to start your water kefir grains in. It's a very nice, thick, heavy duty jar with everything you need to get started. It comes with 8 rubber bands and the cloth to cover the top, it has the temperature take to affix to the side of the vessel after it's been washed and sterilized, a wooden spoon to stir up and dissolve the sugar and molasses, as well as the silicone strainer to drain off the grains after making your kefir. That's quite the setup for the money. All you have to buy are the grains, cane/turbinado sugar, and molasses, if you are going to use that. The company I ordered from (Florida Sun) recommends Molasses for the first batch. I have a zero water filter so my grains need the minerals if they are going to survive. It also comes with a plastic lid for those times I want to give my grains a rest. Very functional easy set up to get you started making wonderful tasting kefir water. Since it's a glass vessel, it won't retain any smells. Great product for those of us just getting started.
