Disappointed

Sending it back. Had the thing almost assembled and the holes where one of the doors hinged on didnt line up. This rendered it unusable and the door wouldnt even half way close. On top of that I had to glue the metal plate for the door magnet cause the screws are cheap and will break, as well as a chip missing on the corner. It is heavy and felt of good quality until the assembly proved otherwise. Disappointed.

Perfect Height For My Counter

68 yr old grandma here. At step one of the assembly process, I was stumped. It took me half an hour to figure out how the first two parts went together properly but once past that, it was a breeze! ALL of the screw holes are pre-drilled making this fool proof... sorta. I got to the very last step, putting the top on, only to discover - the angle side piece with the pane in it did not have any pre drilled holes in the top. I am usually a pretty good DIYer. Drilling holes into this piece was going to be tricky. I had a nephew hold everything in perfect alignment as I drilled through the holes in the top piece to create the holes in the angled piece. The bit I had to use was smaller than a pencil lead. Got'er done. That was the ONLY issue I had. This thing is amazing!! One tiny suggestion for the mfg? The screwdriver you included with this package - It was nice and all, but could you please consider one with a fatter handle? My hands are small and arthritic. I had a time getting a tight enough grip on the screwdriver to make it work. I finally gave up and fished one of my own out of my tool box. This thing is gorgeous! I LOVE it. The directions are excellent. You might consider colored tape on step one showing how the 2 pieces join together. I love this thing so much, I am seriously considering buying another one for the opposite corner of my horseshoe kitchen. Another plus? I LOVE the frosted panes! They hide the clutter inside. :) I am using this one as a spice cabinet. Perfect!!!

Love it

Take your time! The pre-drilled holes are tiny compared to the screws. The lopsided walls are because people probably aren’t holding them down right/ taking their time to align it lol. Always ready to complain. I bought a “used” one because I know it would be some small little detail to it (I don’t care about a little wear and tear on stuff I was a little desperate for a bread box to put my pastries in instead of just throwing them in the microwave every night) but it was perfect! The person that returned it gave the wall an extra hole but outta sight outta mind. It was $7 cheaper. That’s a whole $5 meal deal at mcd’s. Anyways— I did have some trouble putting it together because you have to be precise, but it was perfect! There wasn’t anything wrong with it. I love it!
