Aesthetically pleasing and sharp

Amazing Serbian cleaver (no sheath, though)

Beautiful, well made, hefty, and super sharp! Feels good in the hand. Biggest downside is it has no leather sheath. Other comparable Serbian knives such as the Mueller, which I own (pictured), have a beautiful leather sheath. Hoshano offers matching butcher knives that come in a set with leather bag that rolls up, but no spot for this Serbian cleaver and no aftermarket sheath. Had to find one that would work on eBay for $25.

NO REGRETS WITH THIS CLEAVER.

Cleaver arrived last week. When it arrived my girlfriend immediately loved the balance when holding it and the quality. She owned a very popular chicken pho restaurant and cut up a lot of chicken and knows quality cutting instruments. Yesterday her niece brought a rack of ribs to the house. She used the cleaver to cut up the ribs. Sliced right through the meat like a hot knife through butter (ok, a bit of an exaggeration) and made easy work of the joints. Long story short, the niece was so impressed and loved it so much she took the cleaver home with her and this order is to replace that cleaver for my girlfriend. I think I found my Christmas present for the cooks in the family.
