Remarkably Useful Tools

I didn't know I needed this kit. Bought it for a family member who has lost the use of one arm, but I love them.These three items allow the user to pick up bowls, plates, microwavable dinners with one hand.The orange one is the most enjoyable to use: simply place the two arms on either side of a plate and easily and securely lift and carry it one handed. Works fine with a dinner plate.The green one takes a bit of figuring out, but ultimately it has two jaws that grab onto the side of ceramic bowls quite nicely and, again, allow you to carry a full bowl one handed. As an experiment, I attempted to pick up an eleven-inch cast iron skillet. The jaws grabbed and held it. The heavier the item the tighter the jaws seem to gripAnd, finally, the blue one acts like a pliers, with the jaws aligned for picking up a cookie sheet or broiler pan or tray, again, one handed.I don't have much need for a pair of pot holders anymore, except for pot handles and large heavy items like casseroles, or roasting pans.One of my best tool purchases to date.

Really great value set of tools!

These set of 3 grippers are great and I always have them handy for everyday cooking. I use the Instant Pot a lot and the orange handled dish lifter is amazing. It has a wide hold and seems sturdy enough to transfer hot dishes from the pot to a surface I could work on. The blue handled gripper has a purple tip that makes gripping more stable. I'm still not comfortable using it on larger heavier items but for small ramekins and the like, works in a pinch. The green handled gripper is good with bowls or anything with a lip. A great use for it would be when you're doing canning and have to move a bunch of hot jars safely. A great set that you would use often.

One out of three works for me.

Only one of them are useful for me. The one that is sort of like a claw works pretty nice. The one that sort of grips the edge of the pan or dish is only useful with dry dishes or pans other wise it slips and won’t hold the dish. Since it was bought to use with a steamer it is not useful for me. The one that looks like a jar lifter would be good for smaller items but not larger dishes or pans.

Really handy, good value

I love to make steamed Chinese dishes, but I was having trouble getting the plates in and out of my steamer without spilling. This set of tools was just the ticket. The orange tent-shaped tool is the one I use most, but the other 2 have their uses as well. I'm happy with the purchase.

Surprisingly useful

I was pleasantly surprised by how much more often I use these than I thought I would. I originally got them so that I would have a handle for a pot that I love with a wobbly handle. But there's so many more uses for these.I wasn't sure what I could use the orange handled item for, but it works perfectly for lifting jars. I struggle lifting heavier pots and this allows me to turn any pot or pan into a two-handled pot or panThe blue one has a locking feature and the green one has a weight walk of sorts. The only item I haven't used yet is the blue marinade or sauce brush. But it looks like your standard silicone brush so I'm sure it will be amazing for next year's barbecue season
