DO NOT BUY THESE

These are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! Received my first set and tried to pick up a regular (empty) plate. The gripper snapped, a piece went flying and the spring fell out. Since they are so popular and receive good reviews I figured I got the one defective gripper and ordered a replacement. The replacement came (after Christmas... it was supposed to be a gift. I got lucky NOT being able to gift it) so the second gripper I received, I picked up something even lighter, and empty cereal bowl... same thing, it snapped, & broke... These are made with the express purpose of picking up HOT ITEMS from oven or Air fryer. Thank goodness I didn't try it with any sort of casserole or hot plate. I can only imaging the law suits from burns. DO NOT RECCOMMEND! TRASH!!

These are PERFECT for pulling hot baking sheets out of the oven. No more risking burns to our hands. Super value for the money. They are made well, covered in silicone and keep your hands burn free. They function as listed and we use them often. One for the house and one for the camper!

Not strong enough to lift a hot plate by itself

One of the grippers came already with the end that grips broken off. I mistakenly returned it for an exchange. i should have tried the other one first because when trying to grip a heavier plate it started to tear as well. When I receive the replaced item I am going to return them both for a refund.
