Brilliant!

This candy thermometer integrated into a high-temperature spatula is a brilliant idea. So much simpler than any other candy thermometer I have used. There is no trying to awkwardly stir around a thermometer in the cooking pot & no trying to figure out the heck to attach a thermometer to the cooking pot. You simply stir the concoction as it heats & easily monitor the temperature at the same time. It’s also easy to read the temperature, which isn’t the case with some other candy thermometers. Most definitely recommend. I would buy again - in fact I already have purchased two.

Perfect for kitchen chocolate!

Finally, I can temper chocolate perfectly with inexpensive kitchen equipment! I've tried a few different types of analog thermometers, none were accurate or workable enough. Now I can finally create batches of wonderful chocolate for everyone that loves it. The concept is genius because the thermometer stays in the medium that you are working with constantly. I'm a little disappointed with the spatula itself, the material is pretty stiff so it doesn't clean the side of a bowl nicely. But otherwise this is an amazing kitchen tool. The thermometer is pretty accurate. If you test it by boiling water remember to add degrees for your elevation above sea level. 😉
