These are the best pair of kitchen scissors I have ever owned. I love them so much that everyone will be getting a pair of these for Christmas. I absolutely love the fact that these come apart, so I know they are getting as clean as possible.Very strong blades that have managed to cut through everything so far. Makes breaking down a chicken go so much faster.
These are awesome.Some of the best kitchen scissors i've ever had. I would highly recommend these to anyone. It went through turkey backbone with no problem at all
I purchased these shears several months ago and had only used them on chicken. They cut through chicken parts like a hot knife through butter. But the real test was Thanksgiving. I was able to spatchcock a 15lb. turkey easily. There is one bone connected to the backbone that required considerable grip strength, otherwise I was able to cut out the backbone easily. The shears have many features I don't foresee using, but they work terrific. They are well made, great leverage, and come apart for cleaning. The safety lock is basically useless, so storing them apart is probably the safest way to go, I just wrap the handles with a heavy duty rubber band. I highly recommend.
These are very cool and I carry them around for work. My only drawback is that there's no option for a hip sheath. I know they're for kitchen use BUT having to cut plastic straps and other alternative uses comes in super handy.
So, I just had to sing the praises of these shears. They are hands down the absolute best bang for the buck that you are gonna find in a product like this! Let's look at the features - shears, knife, peeler, serrated edge knife, fish scale remover, bottle opener, pry tool, and let us not overlook the ability to separate the two halves for even more functionality. It has a spring loaded safety for storage and a spring assisted opening feature that makes using this tool oh so convenient. The ergonomics are perfect and the tool looks so stylish. I bought two more to have in my outdoor kitchen & in my camping backpack. I love this tool and the price is unbeatable. The quality is definitely of an outspoken presence as well. you will not be disappointed with this purchase.
Be careful these things are badass
I know Huusk isn't Japanese and is just china trying to cash in on their reputation, but I figured the scissors would at least be alright, however The latch holding the pieces together is loose, the rivet doesn't look fully pressed in and is doesn't lock the blades of the scissors together. I've tried pressing it in further but no luck. It constantly snaps open from the spring, and without the latch it then falls apart. If you are using your other hand to say I don't know, hold what you are cutting there is a decent chance they'll jump out at you and land on you're feet.
