We love this! Worth a splurge

I’ve bought this for my best friend, my son, and now myself - we all love it so much! When it’s closed, it truly is leak proof, so you can throw it in a bag or really take it anywhere. If it’s completely full, it might dribble a little bit when you first open the straw, but not enough to bother me. It keeps ice cold for a long time, I washed it before use and there was no weird taste transfer, and I love that the straw is attached but that you can also remove and wash it. I also love that it’s dishwasher safe because that is a must in my household. I’ve had cups that were a similar style in the past, and didn’t care for them, because they would leak or because I felt weird about not being able to take the straw out to clean it - this cup has solved all those issues! The size is absolutely perfect for a day-long adventure - it’s about the maximum amount I would want to carry around, but still fits nicely in any cupholder. I also really appreciate the little bit of rubberized padding on the bottom so that it doesn’t make a loud metallic noise every time you set it down. The price seemed high at first, but honestly, if I’m using it every day, it ends up being more than worth it. For my needs, I would take this over that Stan brand any day!!

Wonderful CUSTOMER Service & Attention to QUALITY

I purchased this for a good friend of mine who loves the other really expensive brand that frankly, I get an eye twitch every time I hear the brand name of the “other one”. It’s a marketing ploy. Just because it’s expensive doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best option. Nor did they invent the size, features or capabilities. Don’t give into the massive hype or higher pricing just because you see it on social media…sorry, not sorry.I forgot to give it to my friend who was visiting, and even forgot to bring it to her the next time I visited her out of town. So, I decided to use it for myself. I actually had/have purchased three other hydracy bottles. This is the only one with the straw attachment that I have in my collection. Somewhat intentionally because I didn’t like cleaning the extra item.However, the quality of this cup made me change my mind about the straw feature. Especially one that is metal in high-quality and easy to clean, and is while driving friendly.The real reason of this review other than it looking really sleek, (purchased black) being very well insulated and surprised me that I liked it for a mug that I did not want for myself… I didn’t realize until I started using it (late to open since intended it as a gift) that there was something askew with the straw. First, I thought it was my newness to a straw, lol 😂 at least a metal one.I almost threw it away, assuming that shame on me for not checking it sooner. However, I reached out to hydracy customer service and was surprised how personalized the response was. Not only was it personalized, they did not shame/blame or take lack of accountability because it was past the order return date. They were incredibly mindful in asking details and giving me certain directions, and asked for a video to share.At first, I thought well at least I’m not talking to a robot… And obviously they really care about their product and even more so for their customer’s experience. I sent the video and they actually forwarded it to their executive team. Imagine my surprise that something I bought for a friend, never intended to use on my own, and had well passed the return window, but was able to prove that I had not used it and that it wasn’t my own error that there was something wrong with it… I wasn’t trying to sneak something in. That it was my own mistake for not checking it sooner is what I’m trying to emphasize here….Let’s all be fair to businesses that want to do the right thing without taking advantage of them…AnyWho, the fact that I’m going to have a replacement straw sent to me, and that I received a personalized response from an executive level person. Although already a loyal customer, they didn't know that. I certainly will remain one.The reason why I’m writing this review is because customer service is so important. Genuine personalized customer service. It wasn’t an automated response, it wasn’t a robot that sent me basic information that I had to keep fighting through to reach a real person. It was a real person. And they treated me like a customer that they really appreciated.

Thank you to the person who wrote a review and said this water bottle was a mix between the Hydrojug and the Brumate BUT more cost effective! That’s exactly what I was looking for and the Hydracy is spot on! I really liked the Hydrojug tuck away straw but heard the Brumate was better in other ways, but the Brumate has an exposed straw and I don’t like that at all. Both are supposed to be super leakproof which is awesome because the Stanley tumbler I currently have is super overrated and leaks like crazy! In comes the Hydracy! It’s perfect! Perfect size; I love that it has a metal straw; love love love that it has tuck away straw top, and love love love love that is 100% leak proof! Now I can toss it in my work bag and not worry about it tipping over and leaking into my laptop! This water bottle is perfect! The teal is super pretty too.
