A classy addition to a buffet table.

This works well for its intended use; I do wish it were deeper, though, so I'd be confident it would keep the contents of a salad bowl at a safe temperature. I'm also concerned that inevitable scratches will reduce it's attractiveness. None of that detracts from it's intended use, however. I do like the cover to keep unwanted flying critters off the contents.

This chilling tray is pretty neat...

Now, if you're looking for something that can keep your food cold while at the same time not condensating your table, this is not for you. I say that because this retains ice pretty well in terms of how long it can keep something cold, which, of course, isn't something compared to a thermos, for example, but retaining that kind of ice, it does condensely, since it's made of acrylic. Besides that, it's a really easy fix, where you could just put something underneath it, and leave it out, which I really enjoy, allowing it to have such versatility in terms of what you want to use it for. I really can't say much about this product, since it's such a simple design, and you pretty much get what you see in this type of situation, it's a very nice material and quality of design.
