Sturdy ice cream container with a tight fitting, flexible silicone lid
I had been using a plastic food storage container for ice cream, but it had a couple problems. Neither the lid nor the container liked being frozen. It made the lid stiff so it wouldn't open or close that easy, and it made the container brittle which eventually cause it to crack in a corner from the pressure of the ice cream scoop. Neither of those is a problem with this container. The lid is silicone, so it stays flexible and seals tight even when frozen. The container is a very sturdy plastic, much thicker than the food storage contain. As far as I can tell it doesn't become brittle when frozen.The shape of the container is also better. Fits in my freezer front to back perfectly, and the elongated shape makes it easy to get pretty scoops of ice cream, something that was difficult at best with the food storage container.

This container fits in the euhomy mini portable fridge / freezer unit perfectly. Used four of these containers for a perfect fit utilizing all of the space in the 21 Liter fridge / freezer, was able to get so much more ice cream into the fridge/freezer than using round quart or pint containers. So perfect for a big gathering. The containers are nice sturdy and have held up well, they are easy to clean and also fit well in our freezer. The other thing that is nice about them is that it's easy to get a perfect round scoop out of them because of the length of the container one long stroke creates scoops that look picture perfect like a professional magazine photo, with less mess on person scooping too.My ice cream maker doesn't have the capacity to fill these so it's a multi batch process to fill them and make enough ice cream for an event.The 19 Liter Euhomy will only take 2 of these containers. The 21 Liter was perfect for 4 of these containers. Bringing home made ice cream to an event in the middle of summer became possible using these and the Euhomy 21 Liter fridge.

While these are well made, ice cream expands. The description says they’re 2 qt, but that is filled to the very top of the container. You will have a mess if you put 2 qts of ice cream in it. There’s no expansion room.

Simple Ice Cream Containers
These containers hold quite a bit which is great for making larger batches of ice cream. The lids close nice and air tight too! They’re easy to clean, and the slim design doesn’t require a ton of space when freezing things in it. The color is a simple white with colored lids just as pictured, and the containers do exactly as stated. They appear to be a bit thick which should allow for good durability over the life of the containers. I would recommend this product to others looking for simple yet durable storage options for homemade ice cream and sherbet.
