I gifted this to the neighborhood Christmas party team. Every Christmas I can see it, and it really works! A few members of the neighbors managed to set it up to WARM - kept the neighborhood catered food hot for us, but I am sure for our summer group catered gathering it will keep the cold cuts etc nice and cool. We loved it, everyone thought it was the best gift to the neighborhood party planning group since sliced bread. Me included Sturdy easy to assemble and easily stored back into the box it came in. The sturdiness is unparalleled- would definitely get again, maybe I will get another for the neighborhood party planning committee - as someone who benefited from the catered food all I can say is YUMIMHO great price point for anyone who has gatherings similar to ours; be it neighborhood, function, family etc - sturdy and perfect

Great concept, weld points could be better
This cold serving plate is a great concept and is fairly well executed with a few exceptions. The plates in the bottom that are supposed to hold the ice packs are too small for the frame; they are not held in place by the frame and just sit on the table.The ice packs are empty water containers that must be filled and frozen before use. They are just water and do not have any gel substance. The small trays are large enough to contain any condensation or melting ice/water that may leak out of the ice packs.The top of the frame is welded together, but the weld points are not very neat. The top pan is a standard 2-inch-deep chafing pan that is supported by the frame but does not cover the unsightly weld marks in the corners. The bottom of the frame has rubber feet to hold it up off the table.The acrylic cover is a great idea as it allows opening from both sides which makes it especially good for double-sided buffets. The mechanism to hold the acrylic pieces together uses plastic pegs on the hinges. One of my acrylic pieces had popped out and I thought it was missing, but I found it in the bottom of one of the packaging bags. If you run into the same problem, make sure to thoroughly check the plastic bags for any small pieces before you throw them away.This is a great idea for keeping cold foods fresh on a buffet or for special events or parties. This is especially nice for summertime as the lid keeps flies and other bugs out of the food. The weld points on my unit were not as nice as I would have liked, but they really don't affect the functionality.

Nice quality. Easy to clean. Good unit.
This is a high quality, classy way to present cold food.I got the full size, which will hold a lot of food. It's the size of a full size baking sheet. The stainless is a fairly heavy gauge and looks nice. There is a deeper tray for underneath the serving tray for ice and/or the included ice blocks that need to be filled with water. The ice blocks won't cover the entire space, so extra ice would be helpful. The clear plastic lid is good quality and not flimsy.In use, the display tray will work great. Set up is easy. Clean up will be easy. The price is reasonable for the quality. I'm looking forward to putting this unit into use this summer.
