keeps drinks cold
This tumbler has a double-walled design with a stainless steel liner that makes it feel solid. Easy to use, and function wise, when it comes straight from the freezer it does the job of keeping iced coffee or a slushie cold. In the mornings I usually fill it up before walking my dog, and by the time I’m back, the drink is still at a refreshing temperature. The lid snaps on securely and the straw is handy, especially when I’m busy with the kids at breakfast. The frozen walls sometimes make the drink almost too chilled at first, and condensation can build up around the edges if I leave it out too long. It’s also heavier than a regular plastic cup, so carrying it around the house takes a little adjustment. For travel, it fits in my car’s cup holder.

Condensation but cold drinks
I really like this cup but it does build up quite a bit of condensation on the outside after first filling it with a cold drink. I’m only getting a few hours of cold before the frozen ice layer has melted but it’s been a really hot summer. I do notice a lot more condensation if I overfill the silicone cup past the water fill line as it seems like some expansion of ice gets trapped in the screw on rim during the freezing process . So as long as I don’t add water past the fill line, it has a little less condensation but still gets some water droplets on the outside every time. This cup is better than other plastic, gel filled freezer mugs as you are using plain water as the frozen layer and drinking out of stainless steel liner rather than a mystery gel filled, plastic mug. I like that it does not dilute my drinks as the ice is on the outside of the inner stainless steel cup liner.

Keeps drinks cold without watering them down
This tumbler has become my go to during hot weather, mainly because I can pour a drink straight in without worrying about ice watering it down. I tried it first with cola, and it stayed nicely cold without changing the taste, which was a win for me. Acute disappointment
It doesn't keep my drink cold, much less icy. I left it in the freezer for 3 days, because I forgot about it. I took it out, poured in my icebox cold cola, then sat at my desk to work. An hour later the drink is room temp. I may as well just drink it out of the can for all the good this cup did. So glad I didn't buy 2 of them, like I almost did.
