I mean they’re reusable zip bags. I just want to share what I do to wash them. I spread them open over a few prongs in the dishwasher. When they’re clean, I put them straight in the freezer to store before use. Just keep the empties in the freezer. It’s hard to get them dried out completely and that’s a good way to prevent mold.
These work great for meal prep. They are durable and seal easily
Use these every day and do easy to wash. Saves me so much money and are better for our health. The variety of sizes are great. Store well in the freezer too.
I want to love these bags. When they’re brand new they’re amazing. Once they have some use though they become such a pain to close properly. You’ll know you’re having a hard time but think you’re doing ok and then you’ll see how many gaps there are.Size wise they’re good also. I just made a few bags from my weekly trip to my favorite meat place at the local farmers market. To give an example I have 30 party wings & split them into 2 of the gallon bags but could’ve easily fit them into 1The bags are 5 stars when new and probably closer to 3 when not new so a solid 4. Even if you buy them once or twice a year it’s still cheaper than buying single use freezer bags & better for the environment. I just hope they work on the seal
I am SO happy I bought these! They’re super durable. We have a countertop nugget ice maker and we use these bags to store the ice from the machine in our freezer (our actual ice maker is broken). As a bonus, we aren’t throwing away regular ziploc brand freezer bags, which would tear open when when used for this purpose.
These work quite well for my intended purpose of storing left-overs in the freezer. I make large batches of a dish to store and have at a later date. I stored 8 servings of Arroz con Pollo rolled up tight, so they had very little air in them and took up less space (compared to plastic tubs, which would have had dead-space at the top and is more difficult to find places for in the freezer). I have since taken some out of the freezer to thaw out in the fridge and that worked well, with no frost on top.They zip easy and seal well, and are much thicker than normal disposable zip lock baggies. They washed out fine, though they picked up some stain from adobo sauce, which is not a problem. I'm sure I will get many reuses out of them.
I would love these bags if the zipper function worked better. They are a great size. Hold a lot and are hardy for durability. My only complaint is the zipper part fails after time while the rest of the bag is in great shape. Some of my bags failed earlier than others I still have a few bags that still work. Really well made bags except for the zipper part.
