A better drinking vessel

Does a fantastic job on maintaining the cold.. I migrated from 'GAMA Electronics 2 ThermoServ Foam Insulated Coffee Mugs' mainly for the durability of metal, but the 'Ideus Insulated Beer Stein' has a better thermal performance to boot. The handle is adequate, but my xxl-sized hands appreciated the added comfort of a paracord wrapping i added after the first week.

Good cup with a flaw

Well made and solid. Wider bottom makes it more stable. Good size handle. Keeps warm drinks warm and cold drinks cold.Flaw: the bottom is the same powder coated metal as the sides. So if you don’t set it down carefully, you can crack or damage the counter or table. Sliding can cause scratches. The bottom should have a rubber insert to protect surfaces. I kept mine but added bottom silicone strips which work as long as you set it down evenly. If on an angle, it can still cause surface damage. So I’ll give it a try and see.
