Husband Loves It
My husband is no-nonsense when it comes to making his daily coffees (yes, plural), so when he said he wanted this tamper I knew I had to get it.It's got some heft and is easy to clean. It does its job and is super easy to use. In the past, I have made a mess when I didn't pay attention while tamping down the coffee grounds, but this tamper is clutz-proof. Great palm tamper for 54mm Breville/Sage Espresso Machines
This is a solid palm tamper for Breville/Sage espresso machines that use 54mm portafilters.It applies 30kg of pressure uniformly across your puck, and the ripple pattern on the base helps even out your water distribution while extracting.It has a pretty signifiant amount of heft to it, so applying pressure with your palm while tamping is very easy. While larger than some other spring-loaded palm tampers out there, this one does it's job well and is really simple to use.It's also very well made, using durable materials and stainless steel, and the overall quality of the product seems high and it should last a long time. It fits 54mm Breville/Sage portafilters perfectly, with no issues at all.Its very easy to use, does its job well, and has been a solid addition to my espresso toolkit. The only potential downside with this tamper is that you can't trade out the springs for other pressures, but I prefer something stronger like 30kg so this works well for me.

A very substantial, tight fitting, and well designed calibrated tamper
Was quite surprised and impressed with how weighty, tight fitting, and well designed it is. As it's 58.5mm in diameter here's hardly any wiggle but it doesn't get caught on the sides either. The leveler slides up as you place the tamper down to ensure it stays level under its own weight, even before pressing down and the spring loaded flat tamp surface is quite comfortable and easy to press down while it being level. This, combined with their leveler, which is also very well designed, will certainly help keep those 2 factors in your puck prep and resulting shot consistent. It further has the benefit, due to its design, of not gathering any grinds on the ledge as it often happens in other simpler calibrated tampers and leads to needing to press down whipe trying to get something in there to clean it. All this to say that it looks, feels, and works very nicely.

Good level and consistent tamp every time
This is a durable and quality self leveling tamper. I do wish you could adjust amount of consistent pressure but I guess it’s already calibrated. You can adjust the depth. Good value and accomplished my goals. It’s nice to have a good level and consistent tamp instead of manually tamping
