This is an excellent tool for avoiding coffee spills while grinding, filling, and stirring with the WDT tool. Using magnets, it attaches and prevents coffee from spilling out when grinding directly into the container or later being stirred with the WDT tool. A couple of strikes on the rubber surface and coffee settles in, so the funnel can be removed.I use this always and daily in preparation of my espresso drinks.
I wanted another screen for our portafilter on our Barista Touch, and was intrigued that this item also included a dosing funnel as well. I didn't do much investigation, but thought I read it would work with Breville 54mm portafilters. The dosing funnel attaches securely to the portafilter, but the portafilter wouldn't fit under the grinder when the dosing funnel was attached. This is my fault for not reading too much into it. The dosing funnel seems to be made very well, and hopefully someday I have a use for it so I'll keep it around.The screen that was a part of this order works well with no issues, and was the main reason I purchased this combo item. Cleans easily after use, keeps grounds out of the screen in the grouphead, etc. No issues at all, would buy again, although would forego the combination purchase and just buy this particular screen instead.

So far, I think this funnel is great, no issues. The magnet is plenty strong enough to stick to my port filter and no concern whatsoever of it falling off. I’m not sure about the other reviews that think the magnet is not strong enough, it makes me wonder what they’re doing. Perhaps shaking it around or something, but I definitely did not find an issue with the strength of the magnet. The funnel I would give a four or five.The screen, however, seems pretty worthless to me. I was really curious and wanted to give this a try, but when it arrived, I thought that it was a lot thicker than the screen should be. I Think that it takes up way too much space in the headspace and I don’t feel it added any value to the consistency and quality of the puck or the resulting coffee. So for the screen, I would give that a 1 or 2, but I am glad I tried it.
Very well functioning magnets that attach to the portafilter well, can even flip my portafilter upside down!
Works great with my casabrew portafilter. Makes espresso making much easier and cleaner.
I really like the shape and heft of this funnel, it has a nice quality feel, like most Ikape products. But it does have some drawbacks. For one, the magnets are pretty weak, and it only adheres to baskets with a flat top. The biggest problem is the rim around the bottom leaves a deep channel around the inner edge of the basket, that can’t be removed with WDT while the funnel’s in place. Ultimately, I had to return it.
