Well made and worth it
Love this tool! I really like that the needles don’t stay out. It takes away worrying about poking and breakage. The needles are well made. The little base holds it snuggly. The function is great-the needles come out easily when you push the button and they are held tightly. They don’t rattle around or feel as though they’ll fall out. Quality is wonderful and it’s a great value.

Nearly perfect WDT
Near perfect WDT. I recently started using WDT again along with my blind shaker and I am liking the results. This little tool makes it easy. With it's retraction, it's very easy to store without bending the needles or poking yourself. My only small wish is that the needles were a bit longer so it wouid be easier to reach the bottom of the basket without the main body of the tool touching the grounds. But that's really it. Nice job, IKAPE!

Excellent WDT
The retractable feature of this WDT makes it great for those that store their tools away after use or if you don’t have a lot of space on your counter. Sturdy built that is much better than my previous one.

Good price, great quality.
Works perfectly so far! Small, easy to use, was packaged well. Good enough for this amateur for the price!

Simple design. A little 'quirky' to use. WAY overpriced.
I ordered this to replace my SUPER cheap WDT tool that is just .. big, clumsy, and takes up a bunch of room on my counter. I had assumed this one clicked open and closed like a pen. It actually uses a magnet in the cap, and a VERY cheap (but clever) release mechanism : when you push the button, a screw attached to the button pushes the piece of metal holding the needles away from the magnet in the cap. Gravity takes care of the rest. To retract the needles, you just 'flip' the device up, or turn it upside down. While this mechanism is clever, it kind of works against itself. Once you extend the needles, you then need to turn the other end of the device to 'lock' them open, otherwise the second you touch your coffee grinds, they will just retract and magnetically lock there. The metallic shell of the tool is nice. It is pretty compact. It comes with spare needles - a nice touch, as they are rather thin and fragile - and a base which doesn't really fit well. I like the device because it is small and I can just leave it on top of the espresso maker. But MRSP (currently $33) is wildly overpriced. For the same price you can get a spirographic WDT.
