Easy to use, worth the money. The heating element doesn't heat the total area marked on the surface but other that that it's a good product.

Easy to use, worth the money. The heating element doesn't heat the total area marked on the surface but other that that it's a good product.
I received a well-packed induction burner from Aesthetern in perfect condition quickly after I placed my order. Just a few days past Amazon's return window, it started to make intermittent high pitched noises of two different pitches. A few days later it made a louder, low-pitched sound that made me think of the fan motor. The sounds only lasted seconds each time and the burner never stopped operating, but I was afraid it might not be long-lived. I emailed Aesthetern and received a quick reply in flawless English that resolved the problem more than politely, it was genuinely kind. They stood behind their product, treating me as a valued customer.
Excellent product well made gets very hot very fast will be watching electric bill to see if it jumps up.
Above my expectations. Heat water to a boil.
It works very well. Much hotter than old one. Meets expectations
Would not sit level. Had a bad wobble. Returned it.
I have a friend who has an induction cooktop and she loves it. I've watched her cook on it and it's pretty much like magic. I have always wished I could have a gas stove but I've never been in a place that had that available. The heat on a gas stove changes immediately as you adjust the flame. This is truly the next best thing. Actually, because it is far cleaner, it is really the better thing. Whatever you put on it becomes hot pretty much instantly, and when you shut it off or adjust the temperature, that happens instantly, too. I made noodles on it this evening. Often when you do that on an electric stove they boil over. You finally get the water to a rolling boil, put the noodles in, and as soon as the temp goes back up the boiling over process starts. You can do various things to prevent it, but once it starts to take off you have to whip the pan off the burner to cool it down before Mt. Vesuvius erupts. Turning the burner down doesn't cool it quickly enough. But on the induction cooktop, it does. As soon as I saw it beginning to get frisky I just stepped the temp down to 212 degrees and the boil was under control. If it got a little too slow, as soon as I upped the temp the change in the boil was equally obvious. I won't always use this, but I really like having it and there are things I think will do far better on this than my electric cooktop. For one thing, the temp is precise, which is certainly not the case on my electric burners. I was lucky in that most of my pans will work with the induction cooktop. I just put a magnet to the bottom of the pan, and if the bottom is smooth and magnetic, it will work. The thing that bothered me about the directions is that they are way too minimal for someone like me who is using an induction cooktop for the first time. I wish they had some guidelines, like "Suggested power level/temps to cook at" and then a list of some common stove-top items so you had some idea what you are doing. Of course, just like anything else, you can Google your way through this, but I think it would have been more appropriate to have some guidance in the directions that come with it. Other than that, no complaints at all. It seems like a great little tool to have in the kitchen, and it's light enough and has a low enough profile that I'm sure I'll find a place for it in a cabinet if I want to get it off the counter.
