My life long search for the perfect egg cup has ended! These look artisan handcrafted. Fits small to jumbo eggs. These are a substantial weight with a low center of gravity; meaning they don’t tip over easily. The rim/ring provides space for a spoon and peeled eggshell. You can also warm them in hot water to help keep eggs warm a while when awaiting folks at the table.
i've used different egg cups and I really like these. The shape enables you to use salt in any other herbs you might want to use while you're spooning your egg. Perfect design.
Honestly, kinda meh… but only because I probably didn’t need to buy the little dishes, since I have a difficult time getting my eggs to exactly the point of soft boiling, and no further.🙄 I didn’t return them, because I remain hopeful about that goal. The design is perfect, because the surrounding dish catches stray eggshells when one is doing the delicate opening cuts. However, I just peel the darn eggs and eat them straight off.
I like these egg cups. Because it has a saucer attached, I don’t have to set it on a plate, especially when I’m eating fast in the kitchen.My one son just discovered the electric egg cookers. He sent me a picture and asked if I knew about them because I like gadgets and machines. I told him I was on my third one. I’ve used them so much. So for me a good breakfast is to cook a soft boiled egg in the Bella egg cooker, then put it in one of these ceramic egg cups and eat it — delicious.

Love these for soft boiled eggs! Heavy and substantial enough ceramic not to tip and looks like something you would see at an art show.
Purchased this set specifically for the rim & need for only two. Design holds naturally larger duck eggs well. Holders are stackable but stack doesn't stay upright unless you upend one of them as I've shown. Ceramic easily withstands 2 strikes needed to cleanly remove a naturally harder duck egg top. Holder's edge is convenient for resting soft-boiled egg spoon, catching shell pieces, salt & dillweed seasonings. Design doesn't collect water in the top or bottom when placed on edge in my countertop dishwasher. Works well for its purpose.Update_2026-01-05: The mini confetti effect all over the upper side's dish lessens the appealing contrast of the dark blue & white. The lighter blue vertical stripes were more than enough, from my perspective. But, to each his own.
