This was perfect for carrying my pies. It did take a trial run to get the metal reinforcement put in correctly in the bottom compartment, I tried it upside down first of course. I liked the size- it was large enough to set a 9” pie dish and still have room to reach around it comfortably to pick up. I don’t have information about how long it will maintain temperature. I traveled about an hour and all went well.
Just what I needed.
I got this Insulated Casserole Carrier to take hot food while on road trip. It is reasonably well made, and storage capacity is sufficient. I like the design of the bottom section, which unzips to reveal three-fold-down legs. These legs provide support to the upper ring, effectively preventing it from collapsing when items are placed in the top compartment.It is important to place one of the discs included on the bottom after folding the legs down. This step helps to lock the legs in position and adds an extra layer of security. However, the support ring with the fold-down legs can feel a bit awkward during setup, and there is some concern that a more substantial locking mechanism would be beneficial. When carrying a particularly heavy bowl in the bottom section, there is a possibility that the legs could be pushed out of position, which may result in the carrier collapsing.Despite these minor drawbacks, the carrier functions well for transporting flat-bottomed pie pans and casserole dishes. The top section doesn't have any support to keep it from collapsing but it does have a flat disc which will prevent it from deflecting into the lower section. It’s lined on the inside with reflective material to help insulate, which is a helpful feature.Overall, I believe it should withstand moderate use quite well.
I wish I bought this years ago. Perfect for transporting more than 1 dessert. Sturdy and the zippers go both ways. Easy to clean the inside and easy to use the side supports to protect your goodies. I would but for a hostage gift

I recently ordered this casserole carrier as a means to transport my dishes from gathering to gathering without having to worry about reheating issues, and I'm deeply impressed at how well this bag insulates my food. Last Sunday we had a potluck after church, however there was a massive incident on the road that delayed us by nearly 4 hours, I was very worried that the food I had prepared would be cold and soggy by the time I arrived at our destination and our event center had no means to reheat anything so you can imagine my delight when I removed my Mac n cheese and Apple crumble pie to find not only were they more than warm the tops remained crispy and ready to go. The double compartment is incredibly converniant and the straps feel well attached. Its super easy to clean needing a quick little wipe down of any little spills and it doesnt seem to hold on to odor, although I do air dry it before I put it away. It folds up nice and flat for easy storage, I will be using this for many future events for food transportationt, but I do wish the walls maybe were a little sturdier, otherwise I highly reccomend.
