LOVE this salad bowl. Very sturdy and the wood is beautiful! Be sure to buy food grade oil as it enhanced this bowl's beautiful wood. Really nice lip on it to grip and it's attractive. Great size. Easily fit a bag of lettuce and a ton of vegetables. It did not overpower the table. Did I say I LOVE this bowl?
This is beautiful, quite pleasing to have on the table, and surprisingly light even though it's thick wood and solid. We love it.

All I can say is BEAUTIFUL Olive wood which is super safe for humans unlike TEAK utensils and other teak products, please look it up... The bowl is absolutely gorgeous perfect size (large) I fell in love with it.. No damages or scratches... I would buy butcher block oil or food grade mineral oil to prevent cracks.. This item does not disappoint 🙌
Requires periodic treatment with linseed oil & it is the first thing you should do.Give it a thin coat, let sit overnight & wash. It not only seals it, but also brings out the grain & highlights in the wood.
For some reason I thought this was made in the US but the sticker on the bottom of the bowl says made in Thailand. The bowl is beautiful and became even more beautiful after I oiled it with butcher block oil. I’ve seen some negative reviews of cracking but I think with proper washing, drying and oiling this will be a good choice. No regrets here.
