Why did you pick this product vs others?:Just did a full condo remodel and wanted something that could stand alone on the new courts countertops and still look pretty. This matches my hardware perfectly and is very sturdy and good to look at!

This is a very handsome and sturdy paper towel holder. I love the simplicity of the design and the finish. It totally matches my champagne bronze hardware in my kitchen. I have received many compliments. It is really great quality at a terrific price point.
I am returning because the rod allows the paper towel roll to spin and therefore it is difficult to perform a one handed tear off of a towel sheet consistently. It seems there were some reviews saying this worked, but my experience when I tested it with three different rolls of varying diameter was that one handed operation is hit or miss.I'm still giving four stars because the towel holder is very nice as far as construction, style and features.
