I'm someone who has three different mugs on my desk. Coffee, ice drink, and a water.These fit perfectly on the corner of my desk and do not budge.I really like them and they catch the water that leaks off the cold drinks.

These are functional, while protecting your tabletop with high absorbency. The thickness and stability of these coasters makes them perfect for any setting!

I specifically bought these to catch oils that often get on the outside of bottles from cooking oil, machine oil in the garage, or baby oil in the bathroom. These do a great job for that, I did not want costers with wood or cork to absorb moisture, I wanted something more like a car mud matt that catches messes that can ruin countertops or desks.These are not rigid but firm enough to keep a bottle flat and upright. the nooks are deep enough to hold most condensation or drips in a normal situation.I don't think I would use these in a nice room, dining table, or living room. But they would look great in a game room, family room, or other more casual areas. I think they would be nice for outdoor uses too. And because they are very much like silicon hot mats you can toss them in the washing machine and they will be as good as new.

These coasters will hold even the widest bottomed double old fashion glasses (13oz), wine glasses, or beer cans just fine! The outside edge is exactly 4". The handy ridge around the outside edge reduces the size to 3 5/8" which is still plenty. The little notches all over the middle part are sturdy and the grooves in between allow for drips or condensation. They are easily rinsed off after use. The other aspect I love about this set is that it comes with a holder.
