Seems to be well made. Has a good weight and balance. Sharp out of the box. I don't know how well the edge will hold up to everyday house wife use. Meaning mine will toss it in the dishwasher with a bunch of silver wear blade down. Not sure any knife will hold an edge long under that kind of abuse lol
