This is a miracle device. I mounted it under the top cabinet. Very easy to install. You can also use it hand held. I have used it on large and small jars and bottles. Even opens those hard to open water bottles. It is very easy to open just about anything. My husband and I both have arthritic hands. This is a great opener. Highly recommend.
It's not that my hands are weak, it's just some of my plastic juice bottles caps are on way too tight. I mean, you think your weak until you see your skin getting ripped from it's flesh.I like how you can mount it, but rather just throw it in a drawer. I've only used it once, but the cap came off without issues.
As I get older it is getting harder to open bottles of all sizes but this opener does a great job and is a big help from opening personal size water or soda bottles to jars of all sizes. I like this one very much and this is the second time purchasing this item because I wanted on to put in our RV. It is very easy to use, place the cap to be opened in the V portion, grip the handle of the opener and twist the handle and it's that simple and easy to use. A priceless object to help me through the day!
This item is unbelievable! It multiplies the amount of force that is needed to open bottles and jars. Easy to open! Plan to give more as gifts. So glad that I found it!
First, it definitely does work, for opening jars and bottles with a wide range of cap sizes. I don't like it much because it's big and I find it somewhat clumsy to use. But my wife, whose hands are weak and painful from arthritis, loves it. It has the great virtue that she doesn't have to squeeze the handle at all to make it work. And its size and design gives her good leverage to remove stubborn caps, even big ones such as those on mayonnaise jars.
