Great for seniors who have trouble opening jars and bottles.
I’ve these jar grippers. I’m in my 70’s and have a hard time opening jars. These work great. Put in the kitchen and in my nail polish kit for opening those nail polish bottles that seem to glue themselves after opening. I can easily get a grip on it with one of these.

Universal grip aid better than any silicon version
Why did you pick this product vs others?:We had things like these in my house all growing up, but over the years they managed to all disappear. I hadn't seen them in forever so I looked online and found these, and while they feel thinner than I remember the ones I used growing up feeling, that may be just memory bias. They work just as well as the ones I had growing up--both people in my house (me included) have disabilities specifically related to grip strength/hand mobility and no one to assist and this has been such a relief. No more crazy jerry-rigging to try and get something simple open. The size is good and covers my whole hand although if your hands are anywhere above midrange they might be a bit small. There's enough I can put them everywhere in the house so wherever I need one I have one close at hand. They work even when wet, which is notably something the silicon variants didn't do and a reason I was looking for alternatives. Only improvement I'd say is they could be a bit thicker, but maybe that wouldn't grip as well, I don't know. All told, fantastic accessibility product that's more universal than the jar grips and similar tools.

Good, But Not Great
These do the job, though they have less “grip” than I’d prefer. Less grip than prior jar openers of this sort. What that means is that they have a greater tendency to slip, hence necessitate a firmer grip when opening jars. And since I’m starting to get up there in age, that doesn’t bode well for these items in my house. I won’t be returning these, as my wife says she’ll use them as pan separators (when stacking) or as non-slip pads beneath pots, pans & plates on the kitchen counter. But I will be buying additional items of this type that exhibit the “gripiness” I prefer.
