Perfect Replacement

I bought this to replace a 20 year old Calphalon serrated utensil. The sole purpose for this 'knife' is to slice homemade Baklava, which I generally make twice a year. This review was created 01/04/2026. Approximately 10 days ago was the first use for this product, and I am satisfied with the performance. Only time can really indicate the true value, but today it is an appreciated replacement and we might find additional uses for it in the future.I purchased this knife in the color green , for no other reason than to simplifly its location in the utensil drawer amongst the myriad of other gadgets. It is sharp enough for my usage without damaging the coating on the pan. The handle is comfortable to hold and the blade is stiff enough to maintain a straight cut.

Fits My Needs

Works great! No brown spots on the lettuce!

These lettuce knives work great. They cut up the lettuce very easily. I cut the head of lettuce into four pieces. Then I cut out the stem, hold the piece and slice it thinly. Then I put it in my salad spinner and rinse, and spin to get all the water out. I let it sit in the colander until it's almost dry. I put the lettuce in glass mason jars with two paper towels to absorb moisture. I change them out every two to three days. My lettuce keeps for two weeks or more. We usually eat it in two weeks

Use this plastic knife to prevent scratches in my stainless steel brownie pan. A skeptical as I was about a plastic knife I was pleasantly surprised to discover how nicely it worked to cut brownies. Haven’t used it on anything else but if it cuts brownies it should be able to handle softer things like lettuce.
