    Safe, Simple, and Surprisingly Handy for Perfect Veggie Slices

    I didn’t expect much from such a simple gadget, but this JAYVAR onion holder turned out to be surprisingly useful. The stainless steel prongs are sturdy and grip the onion really well, which makes slicing much easier and safer. I like that I can hold the handle and keep my fingers completely out of the way of the knife.It’s especially helpful when I want evenly sized slices for cooking or burgers. I’ve also used it on tomatoes and potatoes, and it works just as well. The spacing of the prongs acts like a guide, so my cuts come out more uniform without much effort.Cleaning is super easy — I just rinse it or toss it in the dishwasher.
