This cup I got for my husband’s coffee. he really likes the size and how it keeps his coffee hot. He also loves the way it stirs whatever he puts in his mug,,no more dirty spoons. the handle is big enough for a man.
So far so good. Using to mix a creatine powder into water. My only complaint is I wish there were more colors to choose from.
Stirs quickly and stays charged a long time.
Great self stirring mug.I like the thick handle and that holds a lot of liquid!
This self-stirring stainless-steel mug is my new favorite thing. Not so much for stirring coffee, but for a new evening ritual I’m trying to institute. It consists of green tea with sweetened matcha powder stirred in. Last night I tried my new self-stirring mug for the first time, and what a treat! I first added the boiling water to the mug along with the green tea bag. I let it steep, then added the matcha power and pushed the whirring button. The sound and motion made me laugh…as did the out-of-control twirling tea bag. Lesson learned… remember to REMOVE tea bag before pushing the stir button. Which I then did and pushed the button again. Thirty seconds later I had the most perfect green tea drink with sweet matcha powder stirred in. A new daily tradition! This device is perfect for the lazy connoisseur in me. Why manual stir when this little guy can stir sooooo much better. I had previously charged the mug with the included USB cable for 1.5 hours as per their printed instructions, which confirmed it should now be good to use for 90 more stirs…NINETY! That translates, for me, into 90 more healthy green tea with matcha cuppas (like the English say). In reading the enclosed directions, I also learned the consumer is “forbidden” (their word, not mine) to clean this mug in the dishwasher, or to soak it in water, or to place it on an electrified surface. Points taken. There is this little magnetic stir bullet in the bottom of the cup, which carries out the magic whir and stir. It seems to be strongly attached magnetically to the bottom of the cup and it hyper-rotates when the button is pushed, thus commencing the whirring sound... which always makes me laugh. The cup size is a nice 15 oz, and it’s so easy to hold with its cactus-shaped handle. Almond milk and chocolate Ovaltine powder… another great idea to institute. Perhaps another impending tradition?!? Anyway, in the ad copy, this mug is referred to as a “novelty gift” … and that clearly describes what this mug is to me right now! I love it!
This is a great mug, works fantastic, the only problem I have with it. Is that the button is right at the top of the handle where your thumb goes to carry it. It takes a little effort to get used to carrying it without it turning on, but my favorite mug to date!
The spinning function works well and the cup is big; however, it feels like it’s made of plastic. The material used to make the cup doesn’t seem too durable. I actually had to return my first cup due to a loose handle.
