Bought more than 10 juicers over the years. This is the best one.
This is a "cold press" juicer which is best for not depleting nutrition from juice (slow masticating/no high speed heat). The pulp comes out very dry, so I am getting maximum juice from my produce. I hand clean my juicers. And soak in vinegar occasionally. This is easiest juicer to clean that I have owned. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Just wash it under sink faucet. The only exception is the output chute for the pulp which requires you to use the included brush/pick. But unlike others where you have to unplug/plug silicone stopper, that must be sealed in this juicer, so you don't have to deal with it at all. My last juicer was similar to this one, but it only had 200w motor and would get jammed. It usually jams, reverses itself, then continues juicing automatically, but sometimes it would just jam and I'd have to take it apart. In fact, finally it jammed so much I couldn't break the blade loose and had to trash the juicer and buy this one. This juicer has 400w motor and hasn't jammed at all so I don't know if it automatically reverses, but switch allows it to go forward or reverse. This juicer has a special tool with extra long finger to allow pushing the juice into the blade w/o having to open it. Best pusher, hands down, of all the juicers I've owned. Finally, this juicer has huge mouth which is great for putting greens in. It will fit whole apples, beets, etc., but I personally cut all my produce before juicing. 400w motor lets it power through juicing w/o jamming or even slowing down. Beets, Celery for juice and the ends of asparagus for soups are the best test produce for juicers. Beets will stop weak juicer blade. Celery and asparagus have jammed up output chute on all my juicers except this one and my last juicer (200w one). But 200w one had issues stopping on beets. I just wish they made a compact size that wasn't as tall, but that might be necessary with 400w motor. After this experience, I would never get a juicer with < 350 motor.
