Did Not Work Well for Cake Pops – Flawed Design and Visible Seams
I ordered this cake pop mold kit for my dessert business and was really excited to use the rose mold to make cake pop flower bouquets for Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, these molds did not perform well at all.I tried multiple methods to get them to work properly. First, I filled each side of the mold halfway with cake pop dough, placed the stick in the center, and closed it. This method consistently created a very visible seam down the middle. The seam line was impossible to hide, and the cake pops often split down the center.I then tried using one larger piece of dough and pressing it into the mold instead of using two separate halves, thinking that would make the seam less visible. However, because I was pressing one solid piece into both sides at once, it was difficult to fully fill both halves of the mold evenly. Once I removed it, the edges weren’t completely filled in, and it still created a visible seam. This method didn’t solve the problem either. After several attempts, I was able to get a couple of decent rose-shaped pops and a couple of diamond-shaped pops out, but even those still weren’t good enough for me to sell or add to my business as a product. In my opinion, they still looked very flawed and unprofessional. It also took so many tries just to get one or two that looked remotely acceptable, which makes these molds extremely time-consuming and not worth it for professional or event-based use.Even when I did manage to get a few that held together, another issue came up when dipping them in chocolate. The shapes are very wide and top-heavy, and they’re not narrow enough. Once dipped, the weight of the chocolate caused most of them to split down the middle again. I was able to get one or two that didn’t split, but you could still clearly see the seam line where the mold closes.Another major problem is how short the shapes are. There isn’t much room for the cake pop stick to sit securely inside the cake pop. Because of that, the pops don’t have much to hold onto, which makes it very easy for them to fall off the stick once dipped in chocolate.I really wanted to love these molds and tried every approach I could think of, but the design just doesn’t work well for making clean, professional-looking cake pops.On the positive side, the idea of the rose mold is cute and it’s a great concept in theory, but it definitely needs to be tweaked. The shapes need to be more narrow, slightly smaller overall, and provide more depth for the stick to sit securely so the cake pops can actually stay together when dipped. Even with those improvements, though, it’s still very hard to get a clean-looking diamond or rose out of the mold without a visible seam. I’m honestly not sure how to fix that part of the design, because the seam issue seems unavoidable with how the mold is constructed.I wouldn’t recommend these for anyone making cake pops for events or business use.

Fun, Unique Cake Pop Molds
I can’t wait to use these cake pop molds. They’re 3D printed, which was really neat to see, and the designs are fun and unique. The inside is slightly bumpy from the printing process, but I don’t think that will affect anything once the molds are filled and the cake pops are dipped—you won’t notice it at all. I’m excited to try them out and honestly look forward to seeing what else this brand comes out with.

Good for cake pops- not for detailed fondant or similar
This cake pop mold kit works great for cake pops. It is 3-D printed, so it has those tell-tale lines throughout the mold, making it not useful for say, fondant, soaps, epoxy or clay creations. There would be too many grooves left in the finished product, and it looks weird. I tried the diamond one with air-dry clay, and it came out pretty bad, as all the grooves from the printing were very noticeable and could not be buffed out of the clay without distorting the overall shape. However, for cake-pops, they are perfect! I had no issues with the cake pops being formed correctly and popping out of the molds easily. I also usually cover them in fondant or dip them in chocolate, etc. after, so those grooves were covered, but they really didn't leave much of a noticeable mark when removing the pop from each mold anyway. The 4 pack I received is a good value, to me. You get the 4 different molds that each make a really good-sized cake pop, and you also get a generous stack of the sticks. And they are so cute! I can't want to make more for my kids on Valentine's Day.

These are 3D printed molds, not silicone, also only two work ok, rest are too big for cakepops!
I wanted to give these cake pop molds a try since Valentine’s Day is coming up and my daughters love baking and plan on visiting soon, thought it would be something we can do together when they visit! It definitely looks and feels 3D printed but the product info on the page says it’s food safe, and BPA free so I hope that is true as I’ve never seen molds for baking made of this material! I’m used to silicone molds. As for the size of these, two, the lips and the heart shape seem to be normal cake-pop sized molds while the flower and diamond shape seem larger! As for how well they work in shaping the cake pops, I honestly can’t say just yet. Will have to update that as soon as I use them, which I will in a couple of weeks. From the looks of the way these open and close and the way the hinges are designed, I’m afraid it may be a little difficult but I’ll definitely update as soon as I use them. I just wanted to put this review up for now as I feel it’s worth noting that it’s 3D printed, not your usual food grade silicone molds, so keep that in mind if you choose to try these out as well!Update on 2/11/26… now that I’ve used some of them:The molds are cheap 3d prints as I mentioned above. That being said, they aren’t horrible, I mostly used the heart shape because the rose and diamond were too heavy for cake pops and they don’t press together very well either. I would not put the stick in the cake pop until it’s out of the mold as it will break in half if you try to put the stick in the cake while it’s in the mold and then try to pull it out (also note: I used oil to make the process smoother)! Over all, I wouldn’t recommend this set since half the set isn’t usable and the 3D print isn’t as comfortable to use as silicone molds. Save your money and find silicone ones that work better. Yes a couple worked ok, but not worth the price of this set for only half of the set to work!
