AWESOME gadget!
I am not sure how I survived without this thing! I have owned a standard “hammer” tenderizer and got rid of it because it never worked like I wanted. Enter this little device. It cleans easily, works smoothly and does an excellent job of tenderizing without just tearing up the meat. I used this on some HUGE chicken breasts I got and it worked well to help them cook evenly and much faster than I anticipated. With meat prices the way they are, I will now be able to save with some cheaper cuts without dealing with difficult cutting and chewing. I look forward to using this to help with marinades as well. Love it! Really makes a difference.
This works exceptionally well and is easy to handle.It can be used to tenderize all meats.The best function is to allow excellent absorption of a marinade. For example, used on a rack of lamb, the minimum marinade time is cut in half!For cleaning, I sponge it with hot water and a small amount of dish detergent, then I run it through the dishwasher. The result is a perfectly clean, odor free kitchen tool.

Great tenderizer, not great case.
The case broke within the first week but the tenderizer itself is great I always wash it in the top rack of the dishwasher to make sure it's clean in between uses
