Works best with chocolate
I purchased these for a specific birthday cake decoration but ended up not needing them. My 3-year-old and I decided the other day to just play around with them, so my pictured items are not very pretty.They definitely work well with chocolate but not super well for gummies. The chocolate popped right out with just a little bend of the silicone, but the gummies ripped on most of them, especially the rectangular ones.The coin shaped mold has a better number of details with the little bumps like a quarter around the circle.The rectangular shapes lettering is very elegant looking.I did not use a scraper with these but next time I will be far more careful and definitely would use one to make them more uniform to scrape off all of the excess chocolate/fondant.These would be really neat with some edible gold flakes.Holds up well to both the heat of the chocolate and the cold of a freezer.
