The spinner mechanism is nice and smooth, and turns easily in either direction. As an added bonus, the manufacturer gives free refills for 5 years! There are less expensive alternatives out there, but I feel like this one is the best overall value.This unit makes a great gift for your favorite home chef....or for yourself.
