These are PRECIOUS and the box is so valuable keeping them safe. It took some abuse arriving, the box was bashed in on one side, and yet the cups and saucers arrived perfectly fine! We are in NCL and got these for the annual tea party this year. Needless to say we had admirers 🩷
I was in awe at the amazing packaging when these beautiful tea cups came in. I couldn’t recall what I ordered that would have been it such an elegant and roomy box until I opened it and saw the first layers of foam. The entire perimeter of the box was thick and solid with a removable topper that went all the way to the outer edge of the perimeter foam. The saucers were nestled between that and another thicker piece that housed the cups, with even more foam separating them. Each dish was individually wrapped in paper so nothing could have caused even the slightest scratch or crack.Now enough about the exquisite packaging. These cups are beautiful. The detail is sharp in every part of the design and the cups feel delicate yet sturdy at the same time. I’m not worried about them shattering when I set them on their saucers but they feel so light and elegant. I can’t wait to have a friend over to enjoy coffee or tea, or whatever we may decide to spike the cups with ;).
This is a cute and elegant set, perfect for enjoying a cup of your favorite warm beverage.--I like that the porcelain is of good quality and very thin--The designs on them are more colonial, dainty but pretty--The size and shape are ideal for a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate--Arrived in a big gift box--Must hand-washThese would be perfect for someone who enjoys elevated experiences and appreciates beautifully hand-crafted items. The price is on par with the quality but a little steep for everyday use of these delicate cups.
