First off, I'm a huge Kate Spade fan. And...my favorite color is GREEN. So, when I came across these KATE SPADE NEW YORK in The Loop Placemats 4-Pack Set, Reversible, 100% Cotton, Machine Washable, Green/Cream, 13"x19", I knew I had to jump in and try them!They come flat and unfolded (yes!) so you don't have to worry about ironing them flat upon receiving them. You can just use them right away! They are casual enough looking for every-day use, but they also can be used at a fancy dinner (you might need more than 1 package, however) and look totally on point in that situation as well.The design is clear, vibrant, and high-end looking. I did make sure to starch them and use a stain protectant on them since I was concerned w/ the white/cream design and possibility of staining. So far, my adult guests have not spilled anything on them to result in my finding if the staining would be permanent or not. The quality of the fabric makes me think this would resist staining and would clean up nicely should a stain occur.The price at currently about $37 seems reasonable, as you are getting a premium product, with the Kate Spade brand name.Bottom line:I'm a huge fan of these, at a reasonable (though higher-end) price and a beautiful product!

Pretty placemat
I am reviewing the KATE SPADE NEW YORK in The Loop Placemats 4-Pack Set, Reversible, 100% Cotton, Machine Washable, Rose Pink/Red, 13"x19". This placemat does coordinate well with Joy Dot decor as well as other In the Loop pieces.These are nicely made placemats, with thick cotton and a clear print. They hold up well to washing, even if they do need ironing after.The pink is such a bright, cheery color. These make my table more fun.

Quality:These placemats are good quality. The stitching on the edges are pretty good with no loose threading and the material is made of is a good touch canvas material that feels like it will be very durable.Design: if you're interested in the product, it means you're already interested in the design. Personally, I really liked it. As you you can see from the picture of them staggered, the design isn't a pure copy and paste on each one. This gives each a little bit of personality, which is a nice touch.Care:Machine wash. Couldn't be simpler. If you do wring it out, it'll get creases so don't do that.The problem:This thing, when received, smelled. Not like a new t shirt in a cardboard box smell, it smelled like rotting milk. It's something you can wash out, buy I'm not sure what they treated it with, it just smelled bad.Overall happy with the product and would recommend, just be sure to wash it first.
