These Kaycrown ice cream shovels are fabulous. I bought 2 sets. My favorite ice cream (Mayfield Extreme Moose Tracks) is very hard to get out of the container because it has big chunks of fudge. These ice cream scoopers get the job done easily. These are dishwasher safe, but I end up handwashing them because SOMEBODY eats ice cream more often than they run the dishwasher. Great product!

So easy to scoop ice-cream. Handle is comfortable and it has a nice weight for durability. Much easier to use than a traditional "scoop" especially if you have difficulty gripping handles.
This is so much nicer than the scoop it is replacing. The edge is so much sharper, and the steel should last longer than the pot-metal one I had that is losing its chrome coating. It cuts through hard ice-cream like a knife through butter. The only caveat I have is that the scoop's surface is maller than you might expect for this style of scoop, so it might nit work as well for folding in ingredients on a cold stone, if that's what you want it for. If you just want to serve up slabs of ice-cream, however, this is possibly the easiest scoop I've ever used.
