I’ve been adding to my place settings of this silverware for a little over a year now, and I am very happy with it still. It’s nicely weighted, excellent quality, holds up great in the dishwasher (I do cloth dry it as soon as it’s cleaned), and very elegant. I will continue to add more pieces.
They are beautiful and shinny
These teaspoons are the perfect size for basic table setting. The ones that came with my 12 place settings were large enough for soup spoons and the soup spoons were large enough for serving spoons. I love the design, the weight, and the quality of this flatware. They are dishwasher safe yet gorgeous. There are many additional pieces offered as well.
Beautiful Spoons! They came wrapped up one by one. So beautiful. I was short on teaspoons and wanted something that blended with my current stainless set. These aren’t a perfect match but they are really close. They are well made and perfect for what I needed. Less expensive than buying replacement spoons that would match my 30 year old stainless steel set.
These are pretty without being gaudy. Good quality and sturdy. I needed teaspoons for a party and these were perfect! Will be using them frequently!
First off, the big plus. This is a true formal place setting, not just a modern one. . By that I mean that you have options for all the various items you find at a full formal table. This is a rarity today and a darn good reason to look at this set for that reason alone. You have your Butter knife, dessert fork, dessert spoon, Entree fork, fish fork, Salad fork, A salad knife (side knife), Entree knife (the larger one) A soup spoon, Oyster (appetizer or fruit) fork, espresso spoon, as well as relish spoons and sugar shells, and even as a bonus the Iced Tea Spoon. The one missing item is a fish knife, but that's totally forgivable given you get everything else. It'd be nice if they offered the whole thing as a single package (maybe in groups of 4 for everything, hint hint) The price point is outstanding for a set that isn't just the modern 5 piece set. So I highly recommend on that alone, Add in the beautiful gravy ladles and and serving set (and that they're bringing a cake server and knife to match soon, and it's pretty much a complete formal setting. Just try to find anything like it at any sort of a comparable price point and you won't find anything affordable.Next let's talk weight and quality. as this is stainless steel with a gorgeous mirror polish, the weight is pretty much spot on for most people. It's a bit heavier than you'll find for most modern cutlery, but that's good, because most modern cutlery is made cheaply with as little weight as possible. That alone makes these stand out as you can feel that they're higher quality than you would expect to see on most tables.That they are stainless steel and 18/10 with high chrome content makes them durable and desirable. I'd recommend hand washing with a cotton cloth to keep them scratch free. But overall I don't see why you couldn't use these daily if you want. I've not put them through multiple washes but with 18/10 I expect them to hold up well.Next up is the gold and silver detailing. Do NOT look at the pictures on the site, they do not do them justice. If you look at the pictures I'm pretty sure they just took pictures of the silver set, and used photoshop to paint the gold highlights on. If you look at the pictures the person that did the paint work was sloppy and the gold runs off into the silver. If you get the real items, the gold is very precise and does not slop over onto the silver areas. So the real item is much better looking than the pictures. Keawell, please take note of this, you are not showing this set off to it's full advantage.There is however one downside to this set. The gold accents are on both sides of some of the cutlery, like the knifes and other items, but on some items the gold is only on one side (like the spoons) I'd talk to the manufacturer and inquire about ensuring that both sides of things like the forks, and spoons all have two sided gold accents. But other than that, this is a must have set.To sum this set up, The setting for 8 or 4 (5 piece settings) are perfect for modern dining and very classy, but that this set includes an option to expand to a full formal set is fantastic. The pieces are high quality, have a gorgeous finish, have high precision accents and excellent weight. I'd honestly say this is a great set for anyone who wants to set a table that will impress.
