What you see is what you get

I find many sellers are not accurate in the listings for gauze table runners. This is not the case here. I have a background in applied arts, am a lifelong crafter, sewer and DIYer. I expect linen to be linen fiber or the linen color, and cotton gauze to well be cotton not polyester or other sheer artificial fibers. There is just the basic safety and truth in advertising issues. I like fire, flames, candles, etc...and artificial fibers are very, very dangerous when exposed to flames, are bad to breathe (bad for environment and lungs), burning artificial fibers melt rather than turn to char causing secondary damage, are easier to catch on fire and emit lots of nasty chemical with use or fire and well do not wear at well and deteriorate faster in high heat and UV ad I line at 5000ft in the southern AZ desert. Natural fibers look nicer, last longer, are repairable (darning or patching) are easily reused and repurposed.The color is a good match for online. The weave is even and all edges securely overcast, which tells me these are taken from a large piece of fabric and cut down to size and then overcast. Artificial fibers break down and get less flexible as they fracture and break where natural fibers will get softer and slowly thinner and finer. This is evenly woven and cheesecloth tens to be very difficult to cut so while these are all not cut on straight of grain, a decent attempt was made, and for something this lightweight unless you are using for clothing will not make a huge difference. I washed in my HE washing machine on cold and hung over my shower rod to dry as this is lightweight and the slightest movement will attract my cats who can easily ruin something this lightweight. The size stayed pretty true and consistent on all pieces.I plan to use some of these to drape outside when it warmer as a kind of decorative mosquito netting as well some of the pieces are so nicely women I can use them in something like a wrap in my historical roman and byzantine outfits. I feel this is bit thin like most modern cheesecloth so it cannot be used for clothing like my mom did in the 70's. It can be a fun thing to hang camping as well to again make a mosquito net and protected place that fits into historical camping, which I need as even wearing 2 repellents they fine me so why not add some color?I would buy this again, and hope they add more colors. The price is a decent value even if the colors are limited.

Nice large quantity, not too thin and a nice dusty pink color.

This cheesecloth runner is a dusty pink. It almost looks lavender and I had to check my order. The fabric is soft and drapes nicely over the table edge. It is pretty sheer so it’s probably not good to use for clothing but if you bought two it could be used as a thin curtain. I received each of the 6 pieces of 10ft twisted up and wrapped in plastic. This is similar to how others have been shipped to me. It's not too thin and the edge is sewn so I did not receive it with any frayed edges. This really looks good as a table runner on a white table cloth and you get plenty to run along a very long table. The width makes it so you can make about a 12" wide runner without a problem. This is perfect to decorating for Easter. I feel like this fabric will last for awhile if taken care of and not washed routinely. I wouldn’t wash this unless it was hand washed because I feel like it’ll destroy it any other way.
