Keeps hot coffee hot and takes 1 hour+ to get to temp and keeps coffee mid-warm, not hot

Warning: This product is not an infrared and the warming plate gets hot to the touch.The unit looks sleek and has a cord that is long enough to reach a few feet from the wall to my home office desk.Using the warmer is easy:1) Once the unit is plugged in, press the power button to turn the unit on and press it again quickly to cycle through the 3 heat options and to power down.Color-coded temperature indicator:- Red/167°F- Purple/150°F- Blue/131°F2) Press the power button and hold for 3 seconds to shut the color-coded temperature indicator off but keep the heat on.I tested the product by placing a half cup of mid-warm coffee on the plate, set to the hottest temp level (red) for 15 minutes, checking temp every 5 minutes.This was my experience:- [ ] 5 minutes: No increase in coffee temperature. The coffee was mid warm with no temperature increase from use. Plate was hot to the touch and touching briefly would hurt but not burn.- [ ] 10 minutes: No increase in coffee temperature. The coffee was mid warm with no temperature increase from use. Plate was hot to the touch and touching briefly would hurt but not burn.- [ ] 15 minutes: No increase in coffee temperature. The coffee was 109 degrees F. The plate was hot to the touch and touching briefly would hurt but not burn.- [ ] 60 minutes: Increase in temperature from 109 degrees F to 122 F.Secondary test:Placed a hot cup of coffee on the plate at 8am. At 1:30pm the coffee is still hot.Overall thoughts, best used placing an already hot cup of coffee on the warm by plate. Otherwise, if you wait 1-2 hours to get the plate up to temp it can keep a moderately warm cup of coffee at the same temp, assuming all day. Of course as the cup has less in it, it becomes easier for the heat to disperse and make less hotter. I don’t like to drink coffee past 2pm so if I power the unit on at 8am my coffee can become cold and slowly warm up over the next hour or so. This would allow me to drink warm coffee (not nearly hot) at my desk without having to go to the kitchen and microwave it.

Keeps my coffee HOT!!

I CANNOT stand lukewarm coffee. THIS is the SOLUTION!Like I just said, I've gotta have HOT coffee. When I finish making it and after adding my liquid creamer, I put it in the microwave to get it hot again. In fact, I use my food thermometer to check the temperature to make SURE it is as hot as I like it, between 147 and 152 degrees.Now of course we don't sit and drink our WHOLE cup of coffee at once. We like to sip it. If you are like me, you don't like to have it cool down to a lukewarm temperature. I would even have my grandson reheat my coffee halfway through to get it back up to the level of yummy heat that I must have.But NOW I don't have to do that!! I can keep my coffee as hot as I like it for as long as I like. If you look at the last picture, you'll see the tall cup that my daughter had given me one birthday. In the mornings, I like to make a DOUBLE cup. We have one of those single-cup coffee makers and I will make TWO 8-ounce cups in that cup. This warmer plate keeps it hot for the few hours that I sip on it. In the evening, I make one 10-ounce cup and sip on IT for an hour or two.What makes THIS mug warmer plate different to the other two I have tried is the temperature range. THIS on heats up to 167 degrees!! The other ones only went up to 147 degrees. THAT is BIG difference, especially since the cup doesn't transfer *all* of the heat. It was a struggle to keep it up. I had to use the silicone top the others had to keep the heat in which elevated the temp.Take a look at the video to see the cool lights that light up different colors depending on the temperature setting you have chosen. It is easy to see at a glance what it's set on.This is the FOURTH warmer I've ever had, THREE in the last 6 months! It is BY FAR the best of them all!It is compact and doesn't take up much space on the little side table that I have next to my recliner. That is a big deal to me, too. I'm disabled and spend a lot of time here. In doing so, I accumulate a buncha stuff that I need to have on hand. The last one was rectangular and longer. It practically took up a third of that same table you are looking at.It's compact in size but not in heat and function. It is the BEST one of all that I've had!!
