3 sizes for all my needs
I’ve been using these Kichwit stainless steel food storage containers primarily for storing leftovers in the fridge, and they’ve quickly become my go-to containers. The three different sizes (18oz, 28oz, and 60oz) are incredibly practical; whether I’m saving a single portion, side dishes, or a larger amount of food, there’s always a container that fits what I need. The stainless steel construction feels very high quality. The containers are sturdy, don’t absorb odors, and feel much more durable than plastic options I’ve used in the past. I really like that they’re made from 304 stainless steel, which gives me peace of mind when it comes to food safety and long-term use.The airtight lids are another big plus. The green silicone lining creates a secure seal that actually works. I haven’t had any leaks or spills in the fridge, even with foods that have sauces. Everything stays fresh, and I don’t have to worry about messes when stacking them.Cleaning is easy, which matters a lot to me since I cook regularly. Both the containers and lids are dishwasher safe, and they come out clean without lingering smells or stains. That alone makes them worth it compared to plastic containers that eventually warp or hold onto odors.I haven’t used these in the microwave, and I don’t believe they’re microwave-safe (I didn’t see anything in the listing stating that they are), so I just transfer food to another dish for reheating. For fridge storage and leftovers, though, they’ve been excellent.Overall, this set is a great choice if you’re looking to upgrade from plastic containers to something more durable, easy to clean, and reliable for everyday food storage. They’re well-made, practical, and perfect for keeping leftovers fresh in the fridge.

Lids will not stay latched, Difficult to Use, Will Not Keep Food Fresh Due To Poor Lid Design
I got these Kichwit Stainless Steel Food Storage Containers with Airtight Lids for my wife, for her kitchen and homemaker needs. She is now impressed. The stainless steel part of the containers are great. However, the lids just will not stay closed. We spend almost five minutes trying to get the lids from popping back off the containers. No matter how we positioned he lids, or how tightly we tried to press down while putting them on, they'd quickly pop off again. It is almost as if the lids are manufactured just a fraction too small, not allowing them to properly seal. Perhaps if they get used more, the plastic of the lids will stretch out and allow them to seal, so we're going to keep them and keep trying to use them. But initial use testing was not a positive experience. I think that the manufacturing specs were so tight that when the plastic was 100% cured, then they became just a fraction too small to adequately work properly. So anyway, I do not feel that the quality of these food containers matches the expectations that a reasonable person would have. The value of the set is good, but no when the containers are only semi functional. Overall, I am not satisfied with these containers, their quality or value. I could not recommend these to anyone to purchase for storage needs unfortunately. I took two stars off for the nonfunctioning lids. I left the other three stars because the stainless steel bottom part is very good and the value of the three in one deal is very good too.

Perfect for my salads and storing fresh fruits and veggies.
Great set of containers especially for salads and cold items that don't need to be microwaved. These are definitely not microwave safe but they do really well in the dishwasher on the top shelf. A bit hard to line up the lids with the base to make them seal correctly, does take some getting used to but these containers are secure. Easy to stack inside of eachother to save space in my cabinet. 3 great sizes for larger meals or storing fruits and veggies, keeps everything fresh.

Attractive Stainless Steel Containers Held Back by Poorly Fitting Lids
I wanted to like these stainless steel food storage containers because the metal bowls themselves are very well made. The stainless steel looks attractive, feels sturdy, and the sizes are practical for meal prep or leftovers. They nest nicely, making them easy to store, and the overall value for a three-piece set seemed great. Unfortunately, the lids are another story.Right from the start, the lids were frustrating to use. On the smallest container, one side refuses to stay latched, and even when it does click into place, the slightest bump makes it pop open again. The medium container is a little better, but one of the side tabs also tends to release on its own. The large container fits the best and seals tightly at first, but even that one started popping open after a few uses. It’s disappointing because when the lids do stay closed, the seal feels genuinely airtight and leakproof. It seems like the lids were manufactured just a fraction too small, which prevents them from locking securely onto the bowls. I tried pressing down extra firmly and even repositioning them, but no luck. It’s a shame because the stainless steel bases really are excellent quality, and the concept of this set is solid. With proper-fitting lids, this could easily have been a five-star product.Pros:High-quality stainless steel bowls that are durable and attractiveUseful variety of sizes for leftovers and meal prepEasy to clean and storeGreat value for a multi-piece setCons:Lids often pop off and fail to seal securelyInconsistent fit from one container to anotherNot reliable for storing liquids or transporting foodOverall, these containers look great and the metal construction feels premium, but the lid issues make them unreliable for their main purpose: keeping food sealed and fresh. If the manufacturer fixes the lid fit and latch design, this would be a terrific set. For now, I’m using the bases for dry storage and serving, but not for anything that needs a tight seal. You cannot trust them to keep food fresh.
