Beautiful Quality Set at Value Price!
PROS: So beautiful. Nice weight and lovely pattern that adds elegance to my formal Christmas Lenox dinnerware without breaking the bank! I was searching for an affordable 18/10 stainless mirror-finish gold tone flatware set for a couple of years. So glad I found this. Washed it in my dishwasher immediately upon unpacking the box. Made sure to hand dry it with a soft towel midway through the drying cycle, as opposed to leaving it in there to sit because I thought this would minimize risk of water spots. Worked like a charm! Very light spotting in just a couple pieces, but you’d almost need to look at it like an inspector with a magnifying glass to see anything. It’s beautiful! I disagree with comments that say the tablespoon/dinner spoon is excessively large. CONS: The salad fork and teaspoon are a bit small, but I think they are fine for dessert, appetizers, and coffee or tea. I usually don’t set my formal table with a separate salad fork anyway. I’ve added a picture to show that only the butter knife has double-sided pattern imprint, I wish all pieces were double-sided. The weight of each piece is perfect and the edges are nice and smooth. The knife has the standard slightly serrated edge, which is perfect. I needed service for 12, so I had to buy the 40pc and the 20pc set. I would love to see svc for 12 available at a cost savings, as opposed to the way I had to buy it. I wish there was a hostess or serving utensils set available in the same pattern in goldtone. I also wish Kingstone would sell a chest for the flatware, as I had to buy my own elsewhere. I will need to buy plain gold instead in order to have serving pieces. You will LOVE this flatware! Excellent value for the quality.
