ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I love this set!
This silverware set is beautiful and has a high-quality weight and balance - I'm very (VERY!) pleased. I ordered the 65-piece set because I wanted the serving utensils as well and also ordered an additional, smaller set so I'd have extra place settings for larger groups. The design is classic and simple enough to complement any type of dinnerware.PROS: The design of the Kingstone set is exquisite - the handles of each piece have a satin finish, with an engraved tip (tasteful design & very attractive) at the bottom end of each piece. The "business" ends of each utensil are sized right for the purpose of each piece and are designed to be attractive as well as functional. The soup spoons can easily serve as additional serving spoons if needed. The serving set that comes with it echoes the design and quality of the place settings and has the usual pieces (serving spoon, slotted spoon, meat fork, sugar spoon, and butter knife).I wish I had found this set years ago - I had lost a few pieces of my everyday silverware over the years and the pattern was no longer made. It had a good weight as well (but a more traditional design), and the few times I tried to replace the set with a new design I realized it's rare to find a good set that has the quality and weight I wanted.CONS: None - I would definitely order it again and I may order an identical backup set to make sure I still have the number of place settings I need in case any of the utensils get lost. If you've view this set online and like it, don't hesitate - buy it!One request to the manufacturer - please, please consider offering additional sets of the serving pieces (or separate serving pieces that can be bought individually). We always need additional serving and slotted spoons. Also, a gravy ladle would be great!
