Knife Block Of My Dreams !

I had re-decorated my kitchen with aqua and turquoise accent pieces, and purchased a Hampton Forge set of knives with turquoise handles, in a block. Well, when it arrived, I was thrilled with the knives, but upset with the block...it didn't look like the picture, and sloped downward so much that it was horizontal instead of vertical and took up too much room on my counter. So back I went on Amazon to buy another set, but there were no others with blue handles..so I got the idea to look for just a block with no knives...and THIS IS IT ! The others I saw were way too expensive, too big, and/or not the right color wood. BUT THIS IS PERFECT ! The wood is beautiful with swirling shades of brown , and the slots are the perfect size for each of my knives. It also has a hole for a sharpener which I didn't have, so I went back on Amazon to buy one.....didn't find one in blue, so I got a white one and it blends in just fine. So don't hesitate to buy this...oh, and BTW, you can read my review of the Hampton Forge knives and block, it's titled, " Great Knives, Lousy Block " L O L !
